Short Description:

The Exhibit “Inspirations from Nature” is a thoughtful collaboration of two Kentucky Artists’ who have been friends for over 40 years. They bring their talents together to showcase their artistic interpretation of nature in and around Kentucky.

Judith Egerton uses the medium of Alcohol Inks to paint a picture of her surroundings in her Kentucky landscape. Judith also uses these paintings to express her ability to capture the natural landscape.  Linda Stahl uses the medium of Ceramics to capture her favorite subjects found in nature. Linda uses both flat slabs that are etched with her subject’s likeness then fired and glazed with brightly colored accents. Linda also forms the clay into three dimensional shapes to make other creative birds and animals.

The combination of the two artists’ work makes for a beautiful display of their work. Many of the pieces are for sale and can be purchased from the exhibit. The work would stay on display until the exhibit ends on October 2, 2021

Reception:  An opening reception to meet and talk with the artists will be held on Saturday, August 21st, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm (CST)
